What Ashley built
-
The flows
Prototyped the core journeys joining an institution, finding your unit, asking a question, getting an answer before any of them were built.
-
A visual language
Defined the type scale, colour and spacing rules that keep Nexus looking like one product, and handed them to the team as something they could build directly against.
-
Testing with real students
Ran usability sessions on the prototype and the build, and turned what she saw into changes rather than a report nobody reads.
-
Quality before release
Wrote the test cases each release is checked against and verified them across browsers and phones, so bugs got caught by the team and not by users.
